Fantik – retired British shorthair male in Greenville, SC

$500

Meet Fantik, our handsome retired British Shorthair male in a beautiful cream and white coat with striking deep copper eyes. Fantik is a large, stunning boy with a thick plush coat, excellent type, and the sweetest personality you could ask for. He has been an important part of our cattery and has produced several beautiful litters for us. Fantik is only 2 years and 2 months old, very affectionate, gentle with children, and gets along well with other cats. He was recently neutered and is ready to go to his forever home immediately. He does have a sensitive stomach/possible food allergy that causes watery stool, and his future family should be prepared to continue exploring a diet that works best for him. Located in Greer.

Description

Funtic is a truly special British Shorthair boy with an absolutely gorgeous cream and white coat, rich deep copper eyes, and a large, impressive build that makes him stand out immediately. He has the classic plush fur, round features, and beautiful expression that people love so much in the breed. His origins are from Kazakhstan, and he has been an incredible part of our breeding program, producing several wonderful litters for our cattery.

Beyond his looks, Funtic has the sweetest personality. He is affectionate, calm, loving, and very easy to live with. He is wonderful with children, friendly with other cats, and enjoys being around people. He is the type of cat that quickly becomes part of the family.

This has been a very emotional decision for me. If my personal circumstances were different, I would strongly consider keeping him myself. However, being heavily pregnant with twins and due very soon, I realistically cannot continue managing his ongoing digestive issue while preparing for newborn twins and caring for my family. Funtic appears to have some type of food sensitivity or allergy that I have not fully identified yet, which causes watery stool. He otherwise feels healthy, happy, active, and full of personality, but he will need an owner who is understanding and willing to continue working on finding the best diet and management for him.

Funtic was neutered this week and is now officially retired from our breeding program. He is still very young at only 2 years and 2 months old and has many wonderful years ahead of him as a beloved companion.

He is available to the right home starting immediately and is located in Greer.
