It’s important to ensure that kittens are at a suitable age and level of development before being picked up or delivered to their new homes. A minimum age of 2.5 months is generally recommended for kittens, as this allows them time to fully wean from their mother and develop important social and behavioral skills.
At this age, kittens should have received their initial vaccinations and deworming treatments, and should be in good overall health. This helps ensure that they are ready to transition to their new home and family with the best chance for a healthy and happy life.
Each breeder has their own preferences when it comes to the type of litter they use for its kittens and cats. Some may prefer clay-based litter, while others may prefer natural or biodegradable options. It’s important to note that the choice of litter can also depend on individual cat preferences and health considerations.
Kittens are typically offered both dry and wet food options, and individual feeding recommendations will be provided to new owners once the kitten is ready to go to their new home.
Please refer to the ‘Contract’ section for information regarding any health guarantees or warranties that come with the kittens. This section should provide detailed information about the breeder’s policies and procedures for ensuring the health and well-being of their kittens.
When you purchase a kitten from us, you can expect them to come with age-appropriate immunizations, deworming treatments, and a Health Certificate from a licensed veterinarian. In addition, our kittens are registered with the TICA association, and spay/neuter options depend on the breeder.
To welcome your new kitten home, we also provide a goody bag filled with some of their favorite toys, treats, or any goodies of our choice. Additionally, if your kitten is being delivered to you, a carrier will be provided for each kitten.
We take pride in ensuring that our kittens are healthy, well-socialized, and ready for their new homes. If you have any questions about what is included with the purchase of a kitten, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
Not every breeder provides breeding rights for their kittens, and whether or not we offer breeding rights may depend on various factors, such as our breeding policies and the location of the client. To learn more about the availability of our kittens for breeding purposes and whether breeding rights are included, please inquire within and we will be happy to provide you with more information.
Unfortunately, we are unable to allow visits to see our kittens before they have received their first vaccine. However, we are more than happy to offer FaceTime or video calls at any time so that you can see our kittens and get to know them better. We understand that finding the right kitten is an important decision, and we are committed to helping you make an informed choice.
If you are interested in purchasing one of our kittens, we require a non-refundable deposit to hold the kitten for you until it is ready to go to its new home. This deposit shows your commitment to the kitten and ensures that it is not sold to another buyer. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, meaning that if you change your mind or are unable to complete the purchase for any reason, the deposit cannot be refunded. If you have any questions about our deposit policy or need more information, please do not hesitate to ask.
We do offer delivery services for our kittens, with both ground shipping and plane shipping options available. However, please note that there may be some wait time and arrangement required for delivery, and additional fees will apply. We are currently establishing a routine with delivery services on a regular basis, so please inquire within for more information on our delivery options and to discuss any specific requirements you may have.
We offer several payment methods for the purchase of our kittens, including Zelle, cash, credit, or debit cards with a 3.6% fee, and bank transfer with a 1% fee. Please note that fees may vary depending on the payment method, and will be the responsibility of the buyer. If you have any questions or concerns about our payment options or fees, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.”
After bringing your new kitten home, it is important to activate your insurance offer within 24 hours before or after the pickup to receive the first month of free coverage. Additionally, we require that you take your kitten to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pick-up, and email us the paperwork, to ensure that your contract remains valid.
To help your kitten adjust to its new environment, we recommend keeping it in a small room with plenty of human interaction for the first week. This can help ease the transition and make the adjustment period go more smoothly.
When you adopt one of our kittens, you will receive a health/vaccination record and a written sales agreement (please refer to the contract section for more information). In addition, you will receive the TICA registration slip and ownership transfer documents. To register the kitten in your name, you will need to fill out the registration form on the TICA website and pay the appropriate fee.
If you are purchasing a kitten or cat for breeding, you will receive all of the aforementioned documents, as well as a certified 5-generation pedigree. It’s possible that the certified 5 generations pedigree may not be available at the time of pick up due to the time it takes to produce. In such cases, it will be mailed to the owner as soon as it becomes available.
We take pride in providing all necessary paperwork and documentation for our kittens, ensuring that our clients have all the information they need about their new furry family member.
Buying from a responsible breeder ensures that the kitten/cat is healthy, has been well taken care of, and has been socialized. They prioritize the welfare of their cats over profit and are committed to finding the best homes for their kittens/cats. They provide ongoing support to their clients and are a valuable resource for any questions or concerns about the kitten/cat’s health and well-being. Overall, buying from a responsible breeder is a great way to ensure that you are bringing home a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted new family member.
While we only sell kittens for indoor use, we highly recommend using flea treatment. It’s possible to bring fleas inside on your shoes, clothing, or even from grass clippings. We suggest using Advantage II Flea Treatment for Kittens 2-5 lbs. This veterinarian-recommended treatment is highly effective and is specifically formulated to kill all life stages of fleas on contact, without painful biting. It provides three-way protection by killing the eggs, larvae, and adults, and breaks the flea life-cycle to prevent re-infestation of your pet and home. The waterproof formula continues working for up to four weeks, even after bathing. It can be used on kittens and cats 8 weeks or older and weighing between 2 and 5 pounds.
Most breeders will provide age-appropriate immunizations and deworming prior to the kitten’s adoption. However, your veterinarian may recommend additional vaccines or boosters based on your kitten’s specific health needs and lifestyle. It’s important to follow your veterinarian’s advice and keep up with a regular vaccination schedule to protect your kitten’s health and prevent the spread of diseases. Make sure to discuss any concerns or questions with your veterinarian, and follow any instructions provided by the breeder at the time of adoption.
